Situated in the Cromdale Hills, Aird is just 9 miles from Grantown on Spey and within easy reach of Aviemore, Boat of Garten, the Glenlivet Estate, Ballindalloch Castle, the Moray Firth and Inverness. This is the heart of The Malt Whisky Trail, which spans 99 km along the River Spey, is the only trail of its kind globally, featuring seven working distilleries, one historic distillery, and the Speyside Cooperage.
Cycling, kayaking, nature watching, walking The Speyside Way, the steam railway – there is a huge amount to do in this picturesque area of Scotland. Aird is also very well placed for golf, with easy accessibility to many championship golf courses as well as many hidden gems including Castle Stuart, Spey Valley, Nairn, Grantown-on-Spey, Boat of Garden to name a few.
Accommodation
Aird sleeps up to 10 guests very comfortably in five bedrooms . There is a well equipped large dining kitchen, second kitchen, large sitting room with spectacular views and smaller sitting room/entrance hall. Large garden with areas to sit out. Bike store and outhouse.
Aird has been designed in a traditional, homely style and has a wonderfully cosy and welcoming feel throughout.
Well behaved four legged holiday makers are also welcome.
